Single power button

Post by digitalcipher » Thu Sep 14, 2017 6:11 pm

Hi all

I want to use a single panel mounted momentary push button to control both shutdown and start Raspberry Pi board but from my tests pressing the FSSD button only shuts down the Raspberry Pi and powers down the UPS module for a few seconds.

After a few seconds the UPS led comes back on but the only way to start the Raspberry Pi is to press the RR button.

Is there a way to get the FSSD button to start the Raspberry Pi when the Raspberry Pi is shutdown but the power cable is still connected and the UPS led is on (not blinking)

Is seams strange to not have the FSSD button controlling both shutdown and power up/starting the Raspberry Pi

How you guys can help :)

Hi,
For the version Plus it is working on both ways. What PIco do you have ? Just for restore you need to wait 8 seconds, as it is tested every 8 seconds due to power saving.
Warmest Regards

Re: Single power button => HV3.0B

Same here with HV3.0B Plus

On battery:
- Push FSSD: Raspberry boots
- Push FSSD again: safe shutdown

On external power (regardless if USB-powered or external 8-28V powersupply):
- Push FSSD: nothing happens

Any ideas?
