has anybody here tried using a Pico UPS for a CubeSat project ?
(CubeSat is a tiny satellite mostly for didactical purposes)
I have run my "UPS PIco HV3.0A Stack Plus" from photovoltaic panels into my external power input for months , but I've never attempted destructive tests --- i've never pushed its limits to find out .. so far it was 'happy go lucky'
It has always worked perfectly in a lab environment , but I foresee many problems for actual launched missions
- there is no way to remote control the buttons in case a hard restart is required !
- no remote firmware update ; only high level software updates are possible and only at very low download speed
Support for the UPS PIco HV3.0A, HV3.0B and HV3.0B+, as also Terminal Block products, SD images also for updated hardware HV3.0A/B/B+
